During these challenging times in the world, Liberatum invited Michael Douglas, a UN Messenger of Peace for an honest, raw and heartfelt conversation with Ishmael Beah who is an author and also UNICEF’s first Advocate for Children Affected by War. Mr Beah was forcibly recruited to work as a child soldier in Sierra Leone at age 13.
Today Mr. Beah works as an activist to help change the course for the thousands of children still trapped in wars. This conversation is part of Liberatum’s global humanitarian series ‘Lifesaving Conversations’. In support of World Central Kitchen.
