The two day Liberatum summit will operate a curated programme with participants such as James Franco, Marianne Faithfull, Stephen Frears, Kim Cattrall, Rossy de Palma, Carmen Dell’Orefice and many others.
Developed to service the growing demand for a more permanent Berlin base for creative industries, the Soho House Apartments will be individually dressed In keeping with the distinctive style of the club. Reflecting 1930’s faded glamour they’ll provide a literal home from home – a fitting location for the first Liberatum in Germany. Each apartment will feature a fully stocked and working kitchen and all apartments will offer full room service or grocery deliveries. Guests can also select their tipple of choice via an old fashioned cocktail cart placed in each apartment. The apartments are available for any length of stay, with reduced nightly rates for longer residencies.
After the success of the Liberatum festivals in different parts of the world, including Istanbul and Hong Kong, Liberatum Berlin at Soho House Apartments promises to be a captivating programme hosting discussions around art, design, fashion, literature, film, music and ideas. Building on the achievements of the previous global festivals, the event will be an awe-inspiring two-day cultural convention, featuring a diverse and stimulating line up, with Berlin as its inspirational backdrop.
On opening the apartments, Soho House Founder Nick Jones said, “Berlin seems to be more and more at the core of everything creative, which is why it’s such a great fit for us to be working with Liberatum on the launch of our new apartments in the city. Their experience in bringing together the world’s cultural icons to provoke interesting debate will be a new experience for the club and doubtless generate much excitement”
