This year, the Liberatum Art & Cinema programme welcomes five singular women whose work has crossed boundaries of music, film, fashion and culture: Sevdaliza, Debi Mazar, Marisa Schiaparelli Berenson and Rossy de Palma, joining a constellation of voices that make Venice feel, once again, like the world’s most surreal meeting place for imagination.

From Sevdaliza’s hypnotic, genre-defying artistry to Debi Mazar’s unmistakable presence on screen; from Marisa Schiaparelli Berenson’s engimatic connection to cinema, fashion and the legacy of Elsa Schiaparelli, to Rossy de Palma’s joyous, rebellious force of nature, each brings a different kind of intelligence, beauty and lived experience.

In Venice, against the water, the palazzi and that particular light that makes everything feel suspended between memory and possibility, Liberatum Art & Cinema will celebrate these remarkable women and the worlds they have helped create.
